When submitting portfolios to AQA for moderation, centres must complete the Candidate Assessment Record for the appropriate skill and level for each portfolio.
Questions can be used flexibly to enable teachers/supervisors to assist candidates to fill any apparent gaps in knowledge based on an assessment of the evidence required in Part B in the candidate's portfolio. Example questions can be found in the Administration Handbook for the Wider Key Skills Standards. The Part A Record Form must be used to record the centre's assessment of the candidate's performance in responding to the questions. The Part A Record Form also contains a case study and associated questions which can be used freely in the centre.
