Exams Officers: publication of results
Certificate and Statement Security
AQA's results documentation incorporates a number of security features. These include:
- re-active heat spots, the colour of which will change if pressed between finger and thumb
- unique security codes identifying candidates and centres
- unique serial numbers for each certificate issued
- holograms
- anti-copying backgrounds
- stylistic security devices.
The above is not a full list of security features, for obvious reasons.
Third parties with legitimate interests in examination results issued by AQA, and with concerns over the accuracy of results being presented to them, should contact the Records Section at AQA for advice.
