Access Arrangements and Special Consideration
Modified Question Papers
Enquiries about modified versions of question papers should be addressed to the Modified Question Paper section of the Candidate Services department of your administering office, depending on your geographical location.
AQA provide modified question papers and preliminary material which have been modified for candidates with visual and/or hearing impairments. For the visually impaired we provide several types of enlarged question paper as well as braille papers and tactile diagrams. For the hearing impaired we provide papers which have had the carrier language modified. The provision of these papers is an Access Arrangement and they are produced on a request basis.
We supply the following types of enlarged papers:
- N18 Bold Arial font on A4 paper
- N24 Bold Arial font on A3 paper
These question papers may have simplified diagrams or written descriptors to accompany detailed diagrams/images. - A3 enlargement
This is a straightforward enlargement of the standard question paper onto A3 paper.
