A-level English - four things you should know this term

Friday 26 Jan 2018

We’ve put together a list of the four key things you should know to make the most of the term ahead.

  1. English hub school network meetings
Our popular English hub school network meetings will return this spring – find a free meeting near you. You will also find materials shared in the autumn term meetings.

  2. Guidance on prohibited texts
See our guidance on prohibited texts for A-level non-exam assessment (NEA), to help you and your students choose which two texts to study. Find this resource among the autumn term Hub school meeting materials on page 43 for Lit A and page 111 for Lit B.

  3. Course materials
Course materials from our recent Feedback on the examinations events are now available in SKM on e-AQA. These will be helpful in preparing for the summer 2018 assessment.

  4. Professional development
Book your place for one of our training courses this term, including Reaching for the A* and Raising potential in weaker students. Find out more and book your place.
