Changes to Media Studies NEA release dates for 2020 assessments
Published: Wednesday 30 Jan 2019
We’re changing the release dates of our GCSE and A-level Media Studies set non-exam assessment (NEA) briefs, to bring these in line with other Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) exam boards.
For the 2020 assessments and onwards, the NEA briefs will be released earlier in the year (1 March) before students take their final exams. This means that for students taking their exams in summer 2020, they’ll be able to start work on their NEA briefs from 1 March 2019.
The briefs will be released on the secure key materials (SKM) area of our secure extranet, e-AQA.
Our GCSE (8572) and AS and A-level (7571, 7572) Media Studies specifications have been updated to reflect this change
