Join us at this year's Association for the Teaching of Psychology Annual Conference at Keele University between 7 and 9 July 2017.
Come along for our inspiring GCSE and A-level workshops, meet our subject experts and get advice about teaching our new GCSE Psychology specification. You can also visit our stand to pick up some brand new GCSE and A-level materials.
The following inspiring workshops take place during the conference:
Friday 4.30pm and Saturday 3pm
We’ll be exploring ways to help students acquire the mathematical skills that now constitute a critical 10% of their overall grade. We’ll cover how these skills will be assessed and explore strategies that may improve student performance.
Saturday 9am and Sunday 9am
We’ll be exploring how students can meet the question requirements and assessment objectives in their answers and how they should use their knowledge and understanding of topics studied elsewhere in the A-level specification using sample student responses. We will also look at implications for teaching and learning and how best to maximise students’ performance.
Friday 3pm and Saturday 11.45am
This will be a chance to look at the new GCSE specification, focussing on the new content and the way it will be assessed. There will be guidance on changes in methods of assessment and ideas for teaching. You will have the chance to explore the resources available and ask any questions.
We will see you there!
