Our Executive Board


AQA is a self-governing independent educational charity. Our purpose is to advance education for the benefit of young people and other learners, principally by providing high-quality qualifications.

Our Council has responsibility for overall strategy and direction, and is made up of representatives of our stakeholders in education and business. Day-to-day leadership and management is delegated to the Director General who is assisted by the Executive Board.

Peter is responsible for IT strategy, internal IT systems, external IT and EDI systems, new technology and printing:

  • ICT Systems Development
  • ICT Services
  • Print and Logistics.
