AQA is renowned for its world-leading expertise in assessment, research and innovation.
We play a major role in research and education policy development working in partnership with schools and colleges and other organisations. Our research expertise is regularly commissioned by our regulator to inform policy decisions. AQA's research is therefore essential in maintaining standards as well as in influencing educational policy.
We participate keenly in policy debate particularly in development of the educational curriculum and the use of technology to improve the quality of assessment. We make regular input to Government policy consultations and inquiries. We also offer expert comment and advice on education issues in a range of other forums as appropriate and on the ePolitix website aimed at politicians.
