| Assistant Principal Examiner | Supervises a group of team leaders where the span of control would be too great for the principal examiner. |

| Reviser | Provides written comments on draft question papers to ensure that they meet the requirements of the specification. |
| Scrutineer | Provides a written report on the accuracy of the final draft of question papers. |
| Team Leader | Supervises a team of assistant examiners or moderators. |
| Examiner | Marks the work of candidates in accordance with the agreed mark-scheme and procedures. |
| Moderator | Marks centres' assessment of candidates' work in accordance with the agreed criteria and procedures. |
| Adviser | The work of an adviser spans the Autumn and Spring Terms, with a focus on providing support and guidance for teachers about coursework or portfolios. |
