How the version numbers work
- The electronic edition of a document marked version 1.0 will be identical in content and layout to the first printed
version published by AQA.
- After that, whenever changes are approved for publication the document will be replaced on the site with those changes
incorporated, labelled with the next version number, beginning with version 1.1.
- Changes will be marked in the document by a side bar in the margin. For specifications, when the next edition of the AQA Examinations Update is published, those changes will be listed there.
- The revised versions of documents are generally published electronically only. If there is a major change, it is reprinted and distributed to centres as version 2.0. The website version 2.0 will be identical in content and layout to that printed version.
