New support from AQA – the Continuing Professional Development Unit
Nowadays many teachers are being asked to teach subjects they are not fully familiar with, because of teacher shortages in schools and the wide range of subjects offered to students. AQA has set up its new CPD Unit in response to requests from teachers for broader knowledge and teaching skills courses across the curriculum. CPD courses are designed to provide high-quality, in-depth training in subject areas where there is a real need for deeper support.

CPD offers refresher courses, ‘hands-on’ workshops, courses on teaching strategies and skills, day and residential courses on curriculum and cross-curricular topics, together with on-line support.
