Other ways of working with AQA
You don’t have to become an examiner to work with AQA; we are also looking for engaging and enthusiastic presenters to deliver our highly regarded support meetings for teachers. Some presenters are examiners but we also want to make sure our presenters have recent, relevant classroom experience.
CPD
In addition our new CPD Unit is offering courses that focus more on the curriculum and teaching practice so it’s not essential that presenters are part of the examining team. If you’re teaching or newly retired and would like a new challenge, we’d like to talk to you.
FREE Presenter Training Course
AQA is committed to delivering consistent, high quality support to our customers. We’ve developed a new training course just for presenters, to make sure that they understand the AQA ethos, and have the skills to deliver an effective and engaging presentation. Once approved as an AQA accredited Presenter, you’ll be invited to run meetings in your subject area and you’ll receive additional training in the specific material to be covered.
What we are looking for?
We want people who can create and /or present our new Teacher Support and CPD courses. We are looking for confident people with basic presentation skills and as teachers let’s face it that means you but what we really want are people who share our passion for education and people with a desire to help their fellow teachers develop their teaching skills and careers. You bring us your enthusiasm and we’ll develop your presenting skills for the good of education in the UK.
