The e-portfolio project is being extended to a number of schools and colleges for summer 2008.
Coursework for over 1000 candidates, for five components, in 80 centres will be submitted and moderated electronically. From 2009, following the successful roll out, the number of centres and range of components in the e-portfolio project will increase further.
Additional functionality is being trialled this summer to allow modern foreign language (MFL) Speaking tests to be recorded digitally and submitted to AQA without using tapes.
The trial, including six MFL centres, with over 500 candidates, across six language components, is a major step forward.
