Sample worksheets: Option Units

Sample worksheets have been produced for several of the Option Units for Entry Level Certificate Religious Studies. These worksheets have been produced to show some of the types of work which can be submitted to the moderator as evidence of the outcomes in the Option Units.

Read/download the sample worksheets currently available for the following Option Units in PDF format:

• Option Unit 9 Marriage, Divorce and Remarriage
• Option Unit 17 Capital Punishment
• Option Unit 18 Prejudice and Discrimination
• Option Unit 19 Wealth and Poverty
• Option Unit 21 War and Peace

Sample worksheets for other units will be produced in future years.

The sample units have been devised to help teachers who are new to the specification by demonstrating what is required for the Option Units. One or more of the worksheets for a unit can be copied for use in class and sent to the moderator as evidence of the outcomes in the Option Units. However, the use of these sample worksheets is not compulsory. Teachers can continue to devise their own assignments which suit the abilities and interests of their students.
