The Law team is pleased to announce that the Resources List for the AS/A Law specification has been updated. These items have been selected as examples of the type of resources which may be useful when dealing with topics detailed in the specification.

Teachers' Guides

A Teacher's Guide is available in this subject. A copy has been sent all registered AQA examination centres. Further printed copies can be purchased from AQA Publications Department. These Guides are not available on-line.

The Guide contains:

• An exploration of links between this specification and the AQA(AEB) Advanced level Law syllabus from which it has been developed
• A review of the assessment structure
• Curriculum modules and a look at how synoptic assessment has been addressed by unit 6 of the specification
• An exploration of assessment issues and a detailed look at the aims of the specification, the assessment objectives and how the assessment objectives are weighted across AS and A2
• A section on course delivery and planning with detailed advice about subject content for each of the modules
• Schemes of work for the course overall and for each module individually
• A resource list with texts suggested for the course in general and for topics in particular
