Coursework standardisation meetings
Dates for coursework standardisation meetings are generally published on the AQA Website in September. Centres are also notified in writing. If you are a new centre, please contact us to ensure that you are invited.
Attendance at Teachers' Standardising Meetings is compulsory for all centres entering candidates for the 2006 examinations. Centres will be contacted directly by AQA with the date and venue for their local meeting. Any centre which has not received the relevant details by the first week in October 2005 is asked to contact AQA directly by telephone (0161 958 3848) or by e-mail at english-gcse@aqa.org.uk.
Meetings are usually held between October and January and are free of charge. If you have not received an invitation please contact us using the details at the top of the page.
Policy on attending coursework standardisation meetings
Arrangements for the External Oral Examination for Entry Options 3703XF & 3703XH
Private candidates entering for the Externally-Assessed Coursework option are required to attend, at their own expense, an External Oral Examination to be held at a regional venue and on a date determined by AQA.
In order for the necessary arrangements to be made, you MUST complete and return the External Oral Examination Arrangements form in the booklet Entry Information for Private Candidates GCSE June 2006 Series J.
