These documents are currently used by AQA examiners and moderators in assessing GCSE Mathematics coursework. The criteria and minimum requirements are common to all awarding bodies. The Teacher's notes column has been produced by the AQA senior moderating team to support moderators, examiners and centres in making accurate assessments of candidates' work. These are working documents and it is expected that the notes column will be added to in the future.
AQA Set Tasks (AO1 and AO4) 2006

These documents give details of the AQA set tasks for GCSE Mathematics coursework for 2006. These tasks replace those in the 2005 Specification although most are unchanged. Change for subsequent years will be published at this location in Spring and centres will be informed through AQA Examinations Update.
2004 Centre Standardising
GCSE Mathematics coursework standardising meetings for this year will be aimed at new centres and those that are adjusted in the summer. All such centres will receive an invitation from the AQA subject department. If centres wish to attend a meeting and have not received a letter, they should contact the subject team using the e-mail address above.
Exemplar and Guidance material from these meetings will be available to all centres from mid-November. Contact the subject team after this time for details. Where appropriate, material will be available on the Website.
