Assessment and Exemplars
Assessment and Grading
Our Higher Project Qualification is equivalent to a GCSE short course (grades A*‑C) and is graded on a four grade scale, A* to C.
NB. Students who fail to meet the minimum standard for grade C will be awarded a U (unclassified) and will not receive a qualification certificate.
As you can see, the marking gives most importance to development and application of transferable and key skills.
It is internally assessed by the teaching Supervisor and standardised by the Centre Coordinator.
