Key Stage 3 Science transition tests
The science transition tests will help you to assess whether your students are ready for either the Key Stage 3 curriculum or GCSE.
They assess the working scientifically strands of the Key Stage 3 National curriculum, specifically:
- scientific attitudes
- experimental skills and investigations
- analysis and evaluation.
Students who achieve the pass mark are considered 'Ready to progress'.
Accessing the tests
You can access the tests and mark schemes from the Secure Key Materials section on e-AQA, by navigating to the relevant specification from the GCSE tab. Speak to your exams officer about access to SKM, or visit our e-AQA help page.
Running the test
