Our A-level Communication and Culture specification replaces Communication Studies. The emphasis is on the cultural aspects of communication whilst maintaining continuity between the two specifications.

Students will investigate their own cultural environment and then consider different forms of communication and interpretation within and between cultures.

The key features of this specification include:

  • a strong contemporary orientation
  • excellent preparation for further study, work-related and personal development skills
  • creative and stimulating case study work
  • practical and academic activity.
