Information and Communication Technology (4520)
The Department for Education announced on 3 November 2015 that GCSE ICT cannot be redeveloped under government changes to GCSEs.
Our regulator Ofqual currently state that, with the exception of re-sits, the last time students will be able to sit exams in ICT will be in summer 2018.
Ofqual are still consulting on the availability of re-sits. We expect them to be available in summer 2019 (but this will be restricted to students who have previously certificated).
We offer a Level 1/2 Award in IT, which is equivalent to a single GCSE qualification.
