This specification develops students' enthusiasm for Literature by using a skills based approach to study. A unit based, flexible course, it is assessed by exams (foundation or higher tier) and controlled assessments.
At Key Stage 4, the specification must be taken alongside GCSE or AQA Certificate in English Language. Post-16, students can enter GCSE English Literature as a stand alone qualification.
