Studying Law gives students an understanding of the role of Law in today's society and an awareness of the rights and responsibilities of individuals, which can be applied to students' lives.

Our Law specifications develop students' analytical ability, critical thinking skills and problem-solving capabilities through the application of legal rules. Our specifications can also help students to develop skills of selection and decision making.

The A-level course builds on the knowledge and abilities acquired by those who studied the GCSE course. No previous familiarity with Law is required, however, for the A-level course.
