Consultation on appeals in summer 2021

Ofqual is asking for views on the proposed guidance for appeals in summer 2021 as part of the general qualifications alternative awarding framework, in a two-week consultation launched on 21 April.
The consultation will be open until 5 May 2021, Ofqual are looking for views on the proposed guidance only and are not asking for views on the underlying policy decisions.
The proposed guidance relates to arrangements for reviews and appeals and covers:
- the student’s right to a review and appeal
- grounds of appeal
- procedural and administrative errors
- academic judgement
- correcting results.
As usual, we’ll be looking at the consultation in detail and responding ourselves.
