Autumn 2021 exams: qualifications with no entries after the entry deadline

Published:Monday 6 Sep 2021

For the autumn 2021 exam series, any qualifications which have no entries by the below entry deadlines will not be available this autumn.

  • AS and A-level – 8 September
  • GCSE – 4 October.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to close the entries for subjects that we won’t be offering this series. If you enter for a subject that is no longer available, we’ll contact you to let you know and ask you to withdraw it.

We recommend that any student whose grade is subject to an appeal also enters for the equivalent exam in the autumn series. This way, if a student is not happy with the outcome, they will have the opportunity to sit an exam to improve their grade.

You can make amendments to entries made before the deadline (8 September), including withdrawals up to and including 25 September without incurring additional charges. Withdrawn entries, including private candidates will be refunded as a credit note.

You can find further guidance on the making entries page, including tips on how to avoid entries delays. Remember, if we find any errors in your original entry file, we’ll need to manually correct these first before you can view any new entry amendment files on Centre Services.
