GCSE Computer Science: practical programming statement for 2022
Published: Wednesday 23 Feb 2022
For summer 2022, and as part of the GCSE (8525) specification requirements, section 5.1 programming skills authentication, all schools and colleges will need to provide a ‘Practical programming statement’ to confirm that every student has had the opportunity to develop their programming skills throughout the course.
While the statement must be returned to us, you do not need to provide any supporting evidence, and there are no tasks to complete or records of the time spent on programming activities.
You can find the declaration form under ‘Practical programming statement’ on the Centre declaration sheets page.
You must submit this form to us by 15 May 2022.
