GCSE Maths - five things you should know this term

Thursday 4 Jan 2018

Let’s get 2018 started. We’ve put together a list of the five key things you should know to make the most of the term ahead.

  1. January results day
Results day for the November 2017 series is on Wednesday 10 January. Read more about our post-results services.

  2. November 2017 papers
The papers, mark schemes, examiner reports and mock exam analysers from the November series will be available on All About Maths soon after results day.

  3. Maths hub schools network
This term we’re relaunching our AQA Maths hub schools network. Run by an AQA maths specialist, and in partnership with our hub schools, these free, local twilight sessions offer networking opportunities plus materials you can cascade through your department for a consistent approach that will save you time.

  4. The Complete Mathematics Conference - 10 March 2018
We’re the main sponsor at MathsConf14 on Saturday 10 March in Kettering. Come and meet the team, attend our workshops and pick up some free resources.

We’ve got 50 free tickets to give away – first come, first served. Email us at maths@aqa.org.uk for yours and we’ll send you back a code to order your ticket online.

  5. British Congress of Mathematics Education (BCME) Conference
We’ll also be exhibiting at the British Congress of Mathematics Education Conference on 4 and 5 April, where our own Andrew Taylor will be co-presenting a workshop with Craig Barton of Diagnostics Questions.
