Update: A-level Sciences practical endorsement arrangements for summer 2020

Further to Ofqual’s announcement (3 April) on how GCSEs, AS and A-levels will be awarded in summer 2020, all monitoring visits will cease with immediate effect and work on this will continue in the new academic year when it is safe to do so.
If you’re submitting a practical endorsement outcome for your Year 13 students this summer, you should give a result for your students as usual. We’ll be in touch with schools and colleges in May with more information on how and when to submit centre grades.
The cross-board guidance has further information on submitting practical endorsement results for Year 13 students in summer 2020 and when schools and colleges can expect a monitoring visit after the summer.
