Welcome back: resources, training and support for the new school year

Thursday 8 Sep 2016

Whether this is your first or fortieth year of teaching, settling in to the autumn term always takes a bit of getting used to. We’ve compiled the essential information to help you get back into the swing of things – including free resources, changes to assessment and teacher training.

Free resources

From planning, to teaching, to assessment; we’ve created resources to help with every aspect of teaching your subject. These include:

  • your specification, including specifications at a glance
  • schemes of work
  • specimen papers and mark schemes
  • e-AQA – home to our Secure Key Materials
  • Enhanced Results Analysis (ERA) – analysis of previous exam answers, really useful for exam preparation and homework tasks.

To explore your resources, just pick your specification from our Qualifications page. Your specification page features all your resources in one handy place.

Understanding changes to GCSE, AS and A-level

We’ve created some resources to help you understand the changes to new qualifications introduced by Ofqual and the Department for Education.

Our exam changes page will guide you through 9–1 grading, Attainment 8 and Progress 8 for GCSE, along with information on decoupling and co-teaching AS and A-levels.

Want to feel more excited about teaching?
