This training will:
- explain exam requirements for the new GCSE speaking and writing exams for French, German and Spanish
- explore effective approaches to teaching mixed ability group
- give you ideas for effective classroom activities to build students' skills in writing and speaking
- look into ways of encouraging independent learning to reinforce and consolidate speaking and writing skills.
The trainer Juliet Park, a renowned speaker, author and CPD trainer covering primary to A-level languages, is subject leader for a Leeds-based school where she is also responsible for driving language initiatives as part of a wider curriculum policy.
Juliet also works with awarding bodies and organisations on a wide variety of projects. She is an SSAT lead practitioner in formative assessment and is currently working on Dylan William's initiative to support senior leaders in a variety of schools to transform teaching and learning.
