Fees
You'll have to pay an annual fee for each learner who's active in the Unit Award Scheme (UAS).
An active learner is someone who achieves at least one unit over the course of an academic year.
Our fees are based on the number of active learners that are taking part in the scheme at your centre. They cover the cost of certification and include printing and postage.
There are no limits applied on the number of units used or certificates issued.
If you have less than 499 learners
We apply a sliding scale of fees to the first 499 learners registered at your centre in each academic year.
Fee per learner
1st to 59th learner: £24 per learner
60th to 299th learner: £17.55 per learner
300th to 499th learner: £15.95 per learner
Example
If you have 100 learners taking part in UAS in the same academic year, the charge is calculated as follows:
59 learners at £24 = £1,416
41 learners at £17.55 = £719.55
Total amount owed is £2,135.55
If you have over 500 learners
If you have over 500 learners, you’ll be charged one fee per learner. This means that no sliding scale applies.
Fee per learner
500-999 learners: £12.50 per learner
Example
If you have 510 learners taking part in UAS in the same academic year, the charge is:
510 learners at £12.50 = £6,375
If you have over 1,000 learners
If you have over 1,000 learners, you’ll be charged one fee per learner. This means that no sliding scale applies.
Fee per learner
Over 1,000 learners: £10 per learner
Example
If you have 1,100 learners taking part in UAS in the same academic year, the charge is:
1,100 learners at £10 = £11,000
