In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed

1	carry out an inspection, tests and measurements as appropriate to identify the repairs that need carrying out on a vehicle	Summary sheet and/or student completed work

4	obtain the repair procedures	Summary sheet
5	carry out the repair	Summary sheet
6	present the repaired vehicle and explain any further action that may be required following on from the repair	Summary sheet
7	complete a job card	Student completed work
8	diagnose a fault from a verbal conversation with an assessor acting as a customer	Summary sheet
9	give an estimate of the cost and time needed for the repair	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
