2 | identify, collect and weigh or measure the ingredients needed to make naan bread | Summary sheet |
3 | put warm water into a bowl, sprinkle over the yeast and one teaspoon of sugar, and leave for 10 to15 minutes or until frothy | Summary sheet |
4 | put the flour, the remaining sugar, salt and baking powder into a large bowl | Summary sheet |
5 | mix the dry ingredients together, then make a well in the centre and pour in the melted butter, yoghurt, nigella seeds and yeast mixture | Summary sheet |
6 | stir the mixture well, then bringing it together with their hands | Summary sheet |
7 | knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic but still soft | Summary sheet |
8 | butter a large bowl, shape the dough into a ball and place in the bowl, then leave it in a warm place to rise | Summary sheet |
9 | divide the risen dough into six balls, and place them onto a baking tray dusted with flour | Summary sheet |
