1identify the equipment needed to make a beef burger and 'secret' sauceSummary sheet
2identify, collect and weigh or measure the ingredients needed to make a beef burger and 'secret' sauceSummary sheet
3tip the onions into a small bowl and pour over boiling water until just covered, then leave it to coolSummary sheet
4put all of the sauce ingredients into a small bowl, add one tablespoon of the cooled onion water, and mix until combinedSummary sheet
5halve one of the burger buns, and cut a thick slice from the middles of the two other bunsSummary sheet
6toast or grill the middle slices on both sides, and the cut sides of the other bunsSummary sheet
7add the mince to a bowl and season, then mix togetherSummary sheet
8divide the mince mixture into two burgersSummary sheet
9heat a drizzle of oil in a frying pan and cook the burgersSummary sheet
10use a food probe to check the burgers are 75 degrees in the centreSummary sheet
11assemble the burgersSummary sheet
12serve the beef burgers and 'secret' sauce in an appropriate mannerSummary sheet and/or photograph(s)
