Why AQA Tech-level IT?
Our Tech-levels in IT have been developed with employers to address IT skills shortages and are endorsed by the British Computer Society. Knowledge and skills are combined to prepare learners for work.
We’ve contextualised transferable skills like communication, problem-solving, research and teamwork into the subject content. It’s an integral part of delivery and assessment and prepares learners for life in either employment or further study.
DfE 16 to 19 performance tables and UCAS tariff points
Our Tech-level qualifications are included in the performance tables for technical and vocational qualifications aimed at students aged 16 to 19, as published by the Department for Education (DfE). They also attract UCAS tariff points
We’ve helped AQA come up with modules that will be fit for purpose in terms of delivering employability into the skills we currently find a challenge in our market place
