Tech-level IT: Networking

Because of the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) there are some changes to how Tech-level IT: Networking will be assessed in 2022. Find out more.

The last time schools can enter for our Tech-level IT: Networking will be summer 2020. June 2021 will be the final internally assessed unit certification opportunity, and January 2022 will be the last external exam resit and certification opportunity.

We've designed these advanced, Level 3 technical qualifications in collaboration with employers and professional bodies. They're aimed at learners aged over 16 wanting to progress into a specific sector through apprenticeships, further study or employment.

Our Tech-level qualifications are included in the Department for Education (DfE)'s performance tables for technical and vocational qualifications aimed at students aged 16 to 19. They also attract UCAS tariff points .

Transferable skills have been contextualised explicitly within each qualification and are a mandatory part of the qualification outcome.
