Key Approaches to A-level Art and Design
This course will provide help, advice and guidance with planning and delivering AS and A-level Art and Design. It will help you identify and develop effective approaches and learning strategies that you can use to develop your students' skills and techniques, knowledge and understanding in their chosen area of art and design. We will review live student work which demonstrates a variety of approaches.

This course will: *explore a variety of key approaches that comprehensively cover the requirements of the AS and A-level specifications *clarify the requirements of all AS and A-level components *demonstrate how student outcomes cover the assessment objectives in a variety of ways *help you to develop successful working practice for your students practical and written work *consider different ways to respond to a brief or starting point *look at ways students can be selective, organise and present their work for assessment. Mark Coombe is an experienced teacher of art, design and photography. With the support of the Principal Examiners and Chief Examiner at AQA, Mark has also written and presented a wide range of highly successful CPD courses for GCSE, AS and A-level Art and Design. He is a senior moderator for AQA GCSE and A-level Art and Design, and a subject adviser for AQA AS and A-level Art and Design.
