JCQ guidance on NEA for summer 2021
Wednesday 20 Jan 2021
The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) has issued guidance for teachers and senior leaders on completing non-exam assessment (NEA) this summer. This follows the DfE and Ofqual’s consultation on summer 2021 and the proposal that NEA marks may contribute to the evidence teachers use to determine students’ grades.
Whilst the details for this summer are still being worked out, we’d encourage you to continue with the completion of NEA in subjects where they apply, and where it is safe and possible to do so.
