GCSE Drama updated set plays for first teaching in 2020

We’re replacing three of our set plays for GCSE Drama (8261). The change will affect first teaching in September 2020 with exams taking place in summer 2022.
The plays that are being replaced are: The 39 Steps, Hansel and Gretel and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The updated specification is available on our website and has full information and prohibited play combinations. Additional specimen questions and supporting mark schemes will be available in assessment resources in the spring term 2020.
