Art and Design: get ready to mark NEA for summer 2022

As Component 2 has been removed for 2022, and with no external moderation since the 2019 exams series, we know that many of you will be needing a refresher on standardising marking for Component 1.
Through research we’ve found that schools and colleges that complete our teacher standardisation are often less likely to have their centre-assessed marks adjusted through the process of moderation.
We’re pleased to confirm that we have returned to face-to-face regional standardisation. These free events are designed to standardise marking for the specification using exhibitions of work for GCSE and/or A-level Art and Design, covering all titles and the full ability range.
