In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	select a walk route with consideration for an appropriate subject matter and target audience	Summary sheet
2	ensure the walk is appropriate to the interests and abilities of the target audience	Summary sheet
3	publicise the guided walk using at least two marketing methods, eg word of mouth, website, radio promotion	Summary sheet
4	make contingency plans in case members of the audience or the environment differ from the anticipated guided walk, eg bad weather, unsuitably clothed participants	Summary sheet
5	identify and use at least two different methods to supply the audience with information during the walk, eg written material, game	Summary sheet
6	collect any necessary information at the beginning of the walk, eg medical details, emergency contact details	Summary sheet
7	lead at least two guided walks	Summary sheet
8	engage all members of the walking group during the guided walk, taking into consideration different abilities and interests	Summary sheet
