Projects: EPQ Supervisor training

Course summary

Suitable for all teachers taking on the role of EPQ Supervisor for the first time, but also current supervisors wishing to update their knowledge.

This course outlines supervisor responsibilities within a centre using example material to explore best practice. The day is split into two sessions, the morning session will focus on the supervisor role and the afternoon session will look at example materials from EPQ submissions. Completion of this course will provide an understanding of excellence, in terms of the role of supervisor.

The course builds on the content found in the AQA e-learning module EPQ: What makes a good supervisor. It would be beneficial to complete the module prior to attending this course.
