BIKE RESTORATION

Level: Level One

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
experienced 1. sourcing a broken bike to restore	Summary sheet
demonstrated the ability to 2. strip down the bike and assess for damage	Summary sheet and/or photograph(s)
3. list the jobs and parts needed	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4. research the parts needed on the internet and fill in requisition/order forms for the parts	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5. prioritise the work needed and create a work plan	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
6. consider any health and safety issues whilst completing the restoration tasks	Summary sheet
demonstrated the ability to 7. the purpose and use of the brakes and gears on a pedal bike.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
