WORKING IN A SHOP: CASHING UP AT THE END OF A WORKING DAY

Level: Entry Level

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. count the money in the till	Summary sheet
2. record the amount in the till float record	Student completed work
3. add up the total amount and enter it on the record	Student completed work
4. minus the till float amount and record the actual amount taken on the record	Student completed work
5. take out the till float money and put it in the till	Summary sheet
6. write out a new record for the till float and put it in the till	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
7. put the takings with the till float record in the safe	Summary sheet
experienced 8. working in a shop.	Summary sheet
