1. show an awareness of one of the dangers of electricity

2. use two different electrical switches

3. sort at least two objects into groups showing how electricity is used, eg to light, to heat, to move

4. indicate that batteries are needed to provide power

5. find the negative and positive ends of a cell using the '-' and '+' symbols

6. demonstrate how to hold a plug when plugging it in or unplugging it.
