- Zero hour contracts have often been in the news in recent years, including some high-profile companies. Look for news items to use as sources of information.
- A series of statements that could be combined to create a set of descriptions for:
- the features of contracts (full time, part time, job share and zero hours)
- benefits to the business,
- drawbacks to the business,
- benefits to the employees and
- drawbacks to the employees.
- Separating the statements produces a series of points that can be used as a matching exercise to consolidate students’ understanding.
