Abstract

AQA’s research – carried out within the Centre for Education Research and Practice (CERP), under the auspices of the AQA Research Committee – has its roots in a number of predecessor bodies, including the Joint Matriculation Board (JMB) and the Associated Examining Board (AEB). This publication highlights the research that has been undertaken during the last four decades, and marks the 40th anniversary of the research committee. CERP, together with its predecessor research units, has produced hundreds of reports. This compendium summarises that significant body of work, and reflects on the changing face of assessment research.
