1. select appropriate beads and stringing materials for the construction of a piece of jewellery

2. select and use appropriate tools to construct the item of jewellery, eg pliers, wire cutters

3. thread beads in order to construct a bracelet or necklace on elastic, tiger tail or leather thong

4. finish the item with appropriate knots or clasps

5. thread beads in order to construct a bag or phone charm using appropriate materials, eg jump rings, eye pins, head pins

6. select appropriate materials to finish the charm.
