1. recognise and name shapes including pentagons, hexagons and octagons and identify a right-angled triangle from a set of triangles

3. describe the properties of 2D shapes, including straight and curved edges

4. describe the properties of at least two solids, eg number of edges, vertices

5. identify at least two angles as a measure of turn, eg quarter, clockwise

6. recognise 3D shapes from their projections on at least four occasions

7. draw the projections of 3D shapes on at least four occasions.
