FINDING OUT ABOUT DIFFERENT GROUPS OF ANIMALS

Level: Entry Level

In successfully completing this unit, the learner will have	Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to 1. choose one animal to find information about from a group of animals, eg reptiles, crustaceans, mammals	Summary sheet
2. obtain at least three pictures of the animal	Student completed work
3. find out where the animal lives, what it eats and its typical behaviours	Student completed work
4. obtain at least three pictures of other animals in the group	Student completed work
5. identify at least two characteristics which all the animals in the group have in common	Summary sheet
experienced 6. sharing with other members of the group, the characteristics which the groups of animals have in common.	Summary sheet
